This
very attractive and diverse 41-acre property
is situated on the SE corner of North Rendezvous Island.
The acreage is comprised of three separate titles
all with their own unique features.
The properties all share a natural unspoiled beauty,
as they are for the most part fully timbered with beautiful
second growth fir, cedar and hemlock. The three properties
combined have approximately 3200ft of shoreline, which
includes a range of topography from high-bank frontage
to easy walk-on low-bank beachfront.
At the southeast corner there is low-bank access directly
to the internal road network, which is absolutely ideal
for the loading and off loading of heavy materials and
equipment. |
Small portions of the property have been developed over
the decades. This includes modest roads and trails and
a large meadow that gently slopes down to the bay on
Lot 1. There is a mature orchard in the meadow with
a variety of fruit trees. A number of building sites
have been prepared and developed, all with water &
propane and some with power.
|
|
|
|
A
variety of improvements have been constructed throughout
the property over the years. |
|
Located in the picturesque bay is a substantial dock
system that provides excellent deepwater moorage.
The facilities are secured in place with pilings and
are protected by a substantial breakwater.

6
modest cabins are located throughout the property -
all with their own interesting character. Three 2-bedroom
cabins, including the primary residence are cedar Panabode
structures all of which have a cozy rustic feel. They
are in good condition for their age and are certainly
livable. The other 3 cabins are more conventionally
constructed frame built structures. |
| Additional
outbuildings include a 22'x40' workshop/storage building,
a separate shower and bath house to accommodate 2 of
the smaller cabins, 2 oceanside storage buildings at
the bottom of the meadow, a generator shed, as well
as covered work areas and wood storage. |

Support
systems in place include a proven domestic water system,
which is a very large shallow well with approximate
capacity of ten thousand litres. This water is pumped
up to a four thousand-litre reservoir and provides gravity
fed water to the cabins. Power is provided by way of
a diversified electrical system that includes solar
panels in conjunction with deep cycle batteries and
an inverter system as well as a 12kw diesel generator.
The cabins have wood burning airtight stoves as well
as propane for the cook stoves, fridges and hot water.
