Float Home Systems:
Water – Currently there is a 250 gal tank. Another 2 tanks are being added for a total of 750 gal. There is also rain water capture from both sides of the roof.
Septic – Holding tank. The system seems to be a series of baffled tanks that overflow from one to the next. There has never been any back-up problem and usage has been intermittent and minimal.
Heating – Propane heating with very functional and efficient wood burning stove. The heated oil radiator
is used only when the generator is on. |
