of Regional District of Comox-Strathcona (RDCS) however

is also located outside the Agricultural Land Reserve
and the Forest Land Reserve, therefore is regulated
by the Local Services Act of British Columbia, which
provides the relevant land use guidelines. Although
a specific zoning designation is not attached to the
land future commercial, recreational, or residential
development or expansion could require approvals from
applicable government regulatory departments.
