The property falls outside the jurisdiction of the District of Campbell River and is within Area "H" of Regional District of Comox-Strathcona (RDCS) however not currently regulated by the RDCS. The property is also located outside the Agricultural Land Reserve and the Forest Land Reserve, therefore is regulated by the Local Services Act of British Columbia, which provides the relevant land use guidelines. Although a specific zoning designation is not attached to the land future commercial, recreational, or residential development or expansion could require approvals from applicable government regulatory departments.

These properties have recently been logged and post logging clean up has been completed. There are good access roads throughout the property and all properties have substantial low-bank, easy access to the lake.
