The existing trail access from Quatsino Rd to the cabin location crosses a neighbouring property, without an easement. This has existed without contest for years, however cannot be guaranteed in perpetuity. Therefore, a new owner may need to be prepared to reconstruct an access on the portion of the property which directly meets the road.

Although the property itself does not front the ocean it is steps away from water access on the road. Anchoring in this location or possibly putting an application to the Crown for upland owner’s consent for moorage could be investigated. The Government Dock in Bergh Cove is a great location for loading and off-loading equipment and material.

In addition to one single family home, zoning would also permit additional 400sqft cabins, up to one cabin per every 2 acres of land.

Colony Lake where there is good trout fishing, hiking and swimming is only a few kilometres from the property.
