The large mainland fjords of Bute and Toba Inlets are to the southeast with Loughborough and Knight Inlet to the northwest. The nearest jump off point from Vancouver Island is Rock Bay which is situated approximately 18 nautical miles south, it is a further 6 nautical miles south-east down Discovery Passage to Browns Bay with marina facilities and fuel sales.
